Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Art Director to generate and realise ideas
  • Able to rapidly create ideas through thumbnails then iterate on them through to completion
  • Create not only production ready concept art pieces for the 3D team, but also aid in creating key art pieces that follow the direction of the game
  • Ability to accurately describe, layout and supply additional reference when passing your work over to the 3D team
  • Encourage creativity and participation from all team members
  • Able to respond positively and proactively to feedback
  • Use multiple workflows when creating designs, from 3D paintovers, to idea generation to image bashing and traditional 2D methods

What we’re looking for

  • Strong amount of creativity in your designs, able to show a wide range of ideas during the initial exploration stage
  • Solid understanding of visual language - texture, scale, perspective, shade, composition, proportion and spatial awareness
  • Strong understanding of lighting and colour theory and how colour affects mood and focal points
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your concept skills
  • Ability to show visual storytelling within an environment design

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and execute production processes on the project that support the ongoing delivery of quality content against the product roadmap
  • Work with the Executive Producer to support the execution of the product plan, directing the team towards successful milestone deliveries and ensuring that all external dependencies are resolved
  • Maintain required production documentation on the project and ensuring all interactions are followed up with clear outcomes and action points
  • Support the maintenance of an up-to-date backlog of tasks and issues, triaging bugs and ensuring that all work on the project is captured, prioritised and quantified
  • Undertake regular monitoring, tracking and reporting of project status to Executive Producer
  • Work with the Executive Producer to maintain appropriate risk tracking and mitigation processes on the project
  • Interact across the project team, removing roadblocks to enable team delivery and supporting the formation of a positive and engaging team environment
  • Review milestone deliverables and working to ensure they are fully achieved to the highest standards

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrable project management skills and experience within games development or a related area
  • People-focused, with an emphasis on building strong relationships and open communication
  • Comfortable operating within complex scenarios, balancing competing priorities and perspectives to drive the best possible outcome
  • Clear communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to order and prioritise a dynamic and varying workload effectively
  • A passion for gaming and an up-to-date knowledge of gaming trends
  • Experience of agile and scrum project management processes
  • Scrum Master certification a plus
  • LiveOps experience beneficial
